Wiring Of Neutral Block In Distribution Box

Whether the neutral line of each circuit in the distribution box needs to be connected to the neutral block does not depend on the neutral block, but depends on the type of switch in the distribution box. The type of switch here is actually the connection type of the switch. In a specific point, that is, the switch input line and outlet line have several terminal blocks, which lines can be connected to determine.

We take the common 1p circuit breaker as an example. This kind of 1p circuit breaker was very commonly used in the family before. The inlet end and outlet end of the 1p circuit breaker have only one terminal, so its incoming end is the incoming line connected to the live wire, and the outgoing end is the outgoing line connected to the live wire, so there is no place for the neutral line to be connected. So at this time, its neutral line needs to be connected to the neutral line. ,

Another example is the model of other switches commonly used in the family, such as 1p + N, 2p circuit breaker, etc. All of the above switches have two terminals at the incoming and outgoing terminals. For example, the two terminals at the incoming line end are used to connect the fire wire and the other one is used to connect the neutral line. So the same is true for the outlet end, one for the fire wire and the other for the neutral line. So the live and neutral wires in this circuit are connected to the top of the switch. At this time, the neutral line is not needed to connect to the neutral line, and the neutral block is no longer effective.

Let's talk about some of the ground wires in the distribution box of our family. If the indoor distribution box is designed according to the latest "code for electrical design of civil buildings", then the incoming lines of the distribution box must be three wires, one live wire, one neutral line and one ground wire. This is the single-phase power supply of household electricity. At this time, the positive live line and neutral line are all connected to the upper port of the main switch, and the ground wire is connected to the ground bar as mentioned above. The ground wires of all the other circuits in the family are connected to the ground bars in the distribution box.
