What is the application of low-voltage switchgear of distribution box?

Low voltage switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the device) is applicable to the power distribution system of metallurgy, mining, petroleum, chemical industry, light textile, building materials, mechanical processing, transportation, hotels, restaurants and other power users, with AC 50Hz, rated working voltage of 400V and rated working current of 630A, as power, motor control and lighting.

Installation of distribution box

1) The distribution box shall be made of non combustible materials.

2) For production sites and offices with small electric shock risk, open type distribution boards can be installed.

3) Closed cabinet shall be installed in processing workshop, casting, forging, heat treatment, boiler room, carpentry room and other places with high risk of electric shock or poor working environment.

4) Enclosed or explosion-proof electrical facilities must be installed in hazardous workplaces with conductive dust or flammable and explosive gas.

5) The electrical components, instruments, switches and lines of the distribution box shall be arranged in order, installed firmly and operated conveniently; the cabinet (box) shall be free of dust, water and sundries.

6) The bottom surface of the floor mounted cabinet (box) shall be 50-100mm higher than the ground; the center height of the operating handle is generally 1.2-1.5m; there shall be no obstacles within the range of 0.8-1.2m in front of the cabinet (box).

7) The protection wire is connected reliably.

8) No bare electrified body shall be exposed outside the cabinet (box); the electrical components which must be installed on the external surface of the cabinet (box) or the distribution board must have reliable screen protection.
