The distribution box has the characteristics of small size, simple installation, special technical performance, fixed location, unique configuration function, not limited by the site, relatively common application, stable and reliable operation, high space utilization, less land occupation and environmental protection effect. Safety requirements of distribution box:

1. The power distribution and lighting distribution of construction electricity should be set in separate boxes. When they are combined in the same box, the power and lighting distribution should be set in separate ways.

2. The low-voltage power supply system at the construction site shall be equipped with a general distribution box, a distribution box and a switch box to implement three-level power distribution.

3. The main distribution box shall be close to the power supply. The distribution box shall be installed in the area where the electric equipment is relatively concentrated.

4. The power switch installed in the distribution box and switch box shall have the functions of short circuit protection and overload protection, and its rated value and action setting value shall adapt to its load.

5. The distribution box and switch box shall be made of steel plate (thickness 1.2-2.0mm) or flame-retardant insulation material.

The distribution box is the control center to command all kinds of components in the power supply line to reasonably distribute the electric energy. It is the control link to reliably receive the upper power supply and correctly feed out the load electric energy. It is also the key to obtain the satisfaction of power supply quality of users.
