Difference between meter box and distribution box
The meter box is a special box for electricity metering, such as ammeter, watt hour meter, power meter, etc. The distribution box is a special box for low-voltage power distribution lines, such as the wiring of one incoming switch and 10 outgoing switches.
The distribution box is collectively referred to as "three boxes": lighting box, power box and metering box.
The meter installed in the meter box belongs to the "metering box" with anti-theft electric devices according to different requirements; "distribution box" is the general term of "lighting distribution box" and "power distribution box", which is used for distribution. There are mainly "power generation", "transmission", "transformation" and "distribution". Normally, power generation is the first step. After the step-up transformer is turned into high voltage, the power consumption equipment will be transported through the distribution equipment after the step-by-step transformation of the voltage transformer to the voltage we need.
