Analysis of the material of the meter box or ready board

The material of the meter box or ready board is a resin matrix composite. The main components of the box are ABS engineering plastics, polycarbonate transparent PC materials, DMC, SMC, which are molded and pressed.

The composite consists of two parts: matrix polyester resin; Reinforcing materials (PC, SMC for short) are also called transparent PC materials and fiber reinforced polyester materials. Transparent PC material and fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester are composites based on unsaturated polyester resin. These two materials are insoluble, flame retardant and recyclable. The latter has the disadvantage of non melting and non recyclable. Its physical structure is three-dimensional network structure. These four materials have become a high-performance engineering material through the modification of functional fillers and the reinforcement of special fibers.
